Prescription Medicine

A prescription portfolio weighted toward hard-to-make generics, complex formulations, and value-added products - molecules that take real work to develop and aren't quickly copied. When exclusivity ends, we're ready on Day 1: on shelf the moment the patent clears.

Multi-regional at the core, worldwide beyond it

Manufacturing anchored in five EU GMP sites in Poland, with Santo in Kazakhstan holding the first EU GMP certification ever granted in Central Asia. From those sites, we sell directly in the markets that form our core, partner with long-term distributors across our broader region, and license to commercial partners worldwide.

PARTNERSHIP models

Our local commercial position across Europe, CIS, and Central Asia is open to partners.

Direct affiliate commercialization

Where the Group is the local company, national teams hold the authorisations, negotiate reimbursement, win the tenders and run the sales force, on a shared platform underneath across roughly fourteen direct-presence markets.
Our products. Our channel.

Own brand export distribution

Products under the Group's own brand reaching forty more geographies through long-term distribution partners, with further countries in active negotiation across the Caucasus, MENA and Southeast Asia.
Our products. Long-term distributors.

Out-licensing

A portfolio across prescription and consumer healthcare with dossiers to EU, FDA, EDQM, ANVISA and PMDA standards - hard-to-make generics, novel combinations and value-added formulations, plus a 100+ product pipeline - licensed to partners who register and sell in their own markets.
Your market. Our portfolio.

In-licensing

The Group commercialises registered partner products across CEE, CIS, Central Asia and Germany on its own infrastructure - MA holdership, regulatory affairs, reimbursement and tenders - with import and QP release for partners based outside the EU.
Your product. Our markets.

Strategic partnerships

Longer-term alliances beyond a single transaction: joint research with universities and institutes alongside M&A, joint ventures, long-term supply and back-integration, co-owned where agreed and carried through to a registered product.
Multi-stage. Multi-year.

Hospital tender distribution

When a partner holds the MA but wants reach without giving up ownership, the Group runs the commercial channel around their product - sales force, medical affairs, tender capability and logistics - mainly for the hospital channel across CEE.

Tender capability

Most of our markets buy medicine through public procurement. We win those contracts.

Hospital tendering

Poland runs one of the EU's most price-competitive hospital markets: tenders at the level of individual hospitals, split into per-substance packages. In Kazakhstan, Santo supplies more than a third of the state-funded medicines basket through centralized procurement.

Statutory insurance

Germany's Rabattverträge - multi-year exclusive supply contracts awarded by individual statutory health insurance funds - cover the majority of generic prescriptions in the EU's largest pharma market. We hold contracts across cardiovascular combinations and metabolic therapies, won against the market's biggest players.

Available to partner products

Partner products under in-licensing and distribution agreements get the same tender capability, run by the same teams that win for our own portfolio.

Winning a tender is one thing. Holding it is another: years of exclusive supply under continuous audit, penalties for every stockout, renewal driven by service reliability as much as price. Sustaining a position takes MA holdership, local-language submission capability, manufacturing capacity behind the volume, and decades of relationships with procurement.

It's why most generic producers enter foreign markets through wholesalers - tender execution is a different model: local affiliate, local team, local audit history.

One in three medicine packs used in Polish hospitals comes from us. We are the sole manufacturer of forty-two medicines in the Polish system.

Post Launch

Every product on every market we serve has a team that maintains it.

Learn more about Quality
01 Regulatory affairs across major frameworks
We file across EMA, FDA, EDQM, ANVISA, PMDA, EAEU and national agencies. Once a product is filed, it stays with our regulatory function through every variation, adaptation and renewal for the rest of its life.
02 Pharmacovigilance at platform scale
One pharmacovigilance organization covers every marketed product, ours and our partners' alike - adverse-event collection, signal detection, periodic safety reports and risk-management plans, across thousands of product-market combinations.
03 Lifecycle management, end to end
Products keep changing after launch - formulation, supplier, packaging, label - and we manage each variation as it comes. For partner-licensed products, that's backed by our own manufacturing capacity, with renewals handled inside the regulatory function that filed the original MA.

Group’s commentary

Partners representing 70% of our B2B business rate us 8.18 out of 10.

Established pharma and research partners already commercialize with us.

Few of these started as a single deal and stayed there. The strongest run across several models at once, and have for years.

"Polpharma Group manufactures around 400 million packs of medicines annually. Every third medicine reaching hospitals in Poland and every eighth available in pharmacies comes from our production. In hospitals, these are largely life-saving preparations such as adrenaline or morphine.
